Fenugreek is one of the most important spices found in almost every home in India. As, used as an important ingredient in most of the dishes, they may be barely noticeable; however they are any thing but unimportant. This is a strongly scented, annual herb, with its origin in South- Eastern Europe and West Asia.
One of the oldest medicinal plants, fenugreek is most cultivated in Argentina, France, India, North Africa, England and the united States. It is, believed that a German painter once used fenugreek to treat his bronchitis. After several months, he noticed that besides clearing his chest his hair has also begun to improve. His hair even re-grew in some places as a result to using this seed.
Fenugreek seeds are extremely potent and help in reducing hair fall, thinning of hair and even balding. This seed contains lecithin, which successfully strengthen and moisturize hair and add glory to our tresses. If your hair is prone to recurrent dandruff, fenugreek seeds can be of great help. Just soak the seeds in water overnight and grind them in the morning to form a paste. You should apply this paste on your scalp. Leave this on for twenty to thirty minutes and then rinse of well with water. Some olive oil can also be, added to the paste. This can get rid of dandruff permanently.
Lice are a menace and this is best to get rid of them as soon as possible. There is a simple method to get rid of them, just boil some water with tea leaves, even used tea leaves are good enough, add four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs, one teaspoon of fenugreek seed powder, mixing it all in a thick paste. Mix two-teaspoon full hair oil, if the hair is dry. Apply the mixture on the scalp and wash off after an hour. This will help rid the hair of not only lice but the dandruff also.
